It’s nice to have the sitting area and beverages available while you wait for your service to be completed. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. It would have been nice to know in advance that the service area for Subaru had changed again, or maybe a note on the door that it was back in the original place. I’m very thankful that my appointment time stayed the same and didn’t get changed without me knowing this time. I had a long, but good experience. For some reason, my apple play had stopped working after I left the dealership for a routine checkup. I came back and explained the problem to them. They immediately went to work on it until they found the problem and fixed it.

Communication is an issue. It is nearly impossible to speak to a human. Pam is awful. And service reps do an 'ok' job of keeping me updated on status. The service department has deteriorated over the last few years compared to what I experience earlier in the 24 years I have been going to the VW shop. And I contrast this with my experience having my Jeep serviced last week at Shelor where communication was excellent and I would rate them much higher despite the oil change taking longer than expected due to a Tech being out. I was impressed with how well and how efficiently they worked with USAA insurance to handle my claim after my car was hit. That was until they told me the repairs were done and I could pick up my car. Service has gone down over the 22 years I have gone to this dealership. Communication about the status of my vehicle is awful and getting to talk to a human is time consuming and frustrating. And Pam should be discontinued. When I contrast the overall service experience with what I had last week in another vehicle it is night and day. I probably won't buy another vehicle from Southern team.
